Dr. Makhani is a family physician working with refugee and underserved communities at Women’s College Hospital and through Inner City Health Associates. She leads Global Health & Vulnerable Populations training at U of T and supports international partnerships through TAAAC-FM. Her work focuses on health equity, culturally safe care, and strengthening primary care for vulnerable populations locally and globally.
